uncle808us
I have a complete song finished now I'm getting the lyrics together. What I'd like to do is take only one verse and one chorus out of the song into a wav or sound file I don't want the entire song just 8 bars of verse and 8 bars of chorus. As this is all I need to work with the lyrics. What is the easiest way to do this? I appreciate all comments. Thank you.
Scott Jackson
Set your Cycle locators to the section you want. Deselect all regions by clicking on the Arrange window background. Bounce.
n6smith
Use Bounce and set the start and end pointers to the appropriate positions for your verse and then for your chorus.. You will then end up with a wav (or whatever other format you choose) file of each of those two parts of the song... http://help.apple.com/logicpro/mac/9.1.6/en/logicpro/usermanual/index.html#chapter=29%26section=
David Nahmani
Sometimes defining a section to bounce may not work (for example if you want to hear delays or reverb tails). My approach would be to make a copy of the Logic file (choose File > Save As, and save under a new name) to make your alternate version. Then, using your cycle (your locators), select the areas you want to delete and choose Edit > Cut/Insert Time > Snip: Cut Section Between Locators. Then bounce your alternate version.
