acefrehley2112
Hi, I'm new to the forum and I'm having problems getting Rewire to work. I have tried all the necessary fixes via Avid. I just upgraded to Logic Pro X from Pro 9. I had no problems with 9, but now I cannot get it to work in X. I have rewire set in Logic to Playback Mode, and I have Sibelius running 64bit. I'm running a 2009 8-Core Mac Pro (Xeon) with 18 GB of RAM. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
Jordi Torres
Hello and welcome to Logic Pro Help! Are you able to see available rewire buses from the input menu of aux channels strips? If you can't, you need to turn Core Audio off and then on again from Logic's audio preferences. Once you're able to see other program's rewire buses, you'll know Rewire is ready to be used...but you'll probably need to close Logic and Sibelius and launch them in the usual sequence for them to get "rewired". acefrehley2112
Thanks so much for the reply. Unfortunately, I still can't can't them working together. Any other ideas on what I may need to do?
Jordi Torres
Did you manage to get the Rewire buses to show up in Logic's Aux channel input menus? Like this (I don't have Sibelius)? J.
acefrehley2112
Hi Jordi, No, it is not showing up this is the only thing I see..
Jordi Torres
Is that a aux channel in your picture? And you disabled/re-enabled Core Audio (quitting and opening Logic again does the same thing)? If you've already done this, it may be Sibelius-related, but I can't say for sure as I don't have Sibelius. J.
acefrehley2112
Yep, I did those things. I'm guessing this is a Sibelius issue. I'll keep exploring. Thanks!
