David Nahmani
It seems like they have tried to implement batch fades using the fade tool in Logic Pro X? However I cannot seem to understand the pattern of when it works and when it doesn't? Has anyone tried it? It seems like it works a little more reliably when selecting the Fade tool click zones under Logic Pro > Preferences > General > Editing. But I'm getting all sorts of problems: • Sometimes it only draws a single fade. • Sometimes it draws a few fades on some of the selected regions but not all. • Sometimes it draws fades on all selected regions. • Most of the time I cannot undo multiple fades, pressing Command-Z only undoes the fade I drew, all the other remain. WORST OF ALL: • Selecting multiple regions with various fades, I can no longer reset all fades by setting the region fade in and fade out length parameters to the value 0 like I could in LP9. DanRad
I'm not working on LPX 10 (I'm a coward and a pragmatist) but you might try as a work around cutting the region which seems to create a new region without a fade. But.. I would like group fades with a tool and would not want to lose the group fade (or no fade) using the inspector.
mastergod
Hi. Any idea why this is happening? Whay do I get different x-fades? I am dragging the regions to the right over the the regions to the left. They are all the same length. All the best!
mastergod
Okey, even though I don´t know the purpose of the different length of x-fades, I figured out how to get them equal. I took the left regions and dragged them over the right regions
David Nahmani
Hey mastergod, did you apply those all at once, at the same time, with the fade tool?
Eric Cardenas
I believe that it is this bug. Different Length Crossfades in Logic Pro X
