Fat_Stanley
Hi Does anyone know whether it's possible to change Logic's default behaviour when creating a summing stack so that it isn't created to include a Logic EQ/compressor, which I'm very rarely going to use. I'd preferably like it to be a blank canvas. Thanks Stan
Jordi Torres
Create a new Track Stack and remove the EQ and Compresor. Go into the Setting menu and save the Channel Strip Setting as "001 Aux Channel" to the desktop. Go to /Applications/Logic Pro X.app/Contents/Resources/Default Patches/Aux Channel.patch/Aux Channel/ and replace the "001 Aux Channel.cst" file with the one you created (make a backup of this file in case you want to go back) J. Fat_Stanley
Thanks Jordi! That worked beautifully
Jordi Torres
You're welcome! Keep in mind that a future Logic update might reset this back to how it was originally, so maybe it's a good idea to make a backup of your modified cst as well. J. fisherking
you can, of course, use this to save a customized track stack (i made one with some 3rd-party plugins)...

David T
+ 1 Thanks Jordi. I've created an applet to simplify the process of switching between the custom state (no EQ & Compressor) to the default state. You can get LPX-SSD (Logic Pro X - Summing Stack Default Tool) here: http://bit.ly/reaudio

David T
Cool! J. Thanks. My tests show that you do not need to close Logic to change the state.
