i found the beta too sluggish to use (it's full of debug code)...went back to the 32bit plug for now...

Try clearing the AU cache!

yeah, had to uninstall it, clear the AU cache...and all is well (really, i should have thought of this myself).

I can't open it. The AU validation tool gives me this error:

Well I guess now I have to decide on whether to move from the stable realms of a OS10.6.8/LP9.1.6) framework or opt to eat an overall investment in flux;; plugins

Overall a deplorable & dismal marketing effort on the part of FLUX::
