Intel Core i7 Dual oder Quadcore?

Hi,

I am thinking about getting a new macook pro only for live purposes with mainstage.

what´s the best machine? Will Mainstage take full advantage of the 4 cores in an intel Core i7?

Well the 13 " macbook pro has 2,8 Ghz whereas the 15" macbook pro can have 2,5 GHz. I know it is a quadcore, but will mainstage use all the cores to process?

I want and need as much processing power for live use for mainstage. what´s the best machine?

I would go with the bigger screen 15" easier to work on, for portability the 13" should do fine too performance wise.

thanks for you answer. Well portability is not a criteria for me when it comes to either 13" or 15".
The Question is, will I experience a significant performance difference when using Mainstage on a dualcore or a quadcore machine?
