Samples of Clapping, Cheering and Noisy Pub sing-a-long

Postby nev17 » Mon Jul 02, 2012 7:46 am

Hi folks,
I'm trying to track down audio of clapping, cheering and general noisy merriment of a pub sing-a-long (without an actual song, of course). I haven't found anything suitable, as yet, and I would be most grateful for any leads.
Cheers.

I thought this pub thing had something to do with little hairs.

I think the Apple Loops section has that audience thing you are looking for.

No Joy, I'm afraid, Shiv. But thanks. If anyone has any other leads I'd be most grateful. Otherwise, a very expensive round of drinks, or three, beckons.

Hey nev17, to increase your chances of getting some good leads, I suggest editing your thread title to something more descriptive, for example something like:

"Samples of Clapping, Cheering and Noisy Pub sing-a-long?"

Will do, David. 'Pubarama' is probably a bit too English.
Cheers.

Hey nev17.

Have you given this site a look?

http://freesound.org

I did a search for 'pub' and got this: http://www.freesound.org/search/?q=pub

I love this site for random field recordings. I suppose you could stack a few of those samples of bar chatter and make it sound huge. Good luck!

Bloomin' brilliant - absolutely spot-on. Thank you. I was honestly planning (in my head, at least) on how I was going to go about hiring a venue and filling it with drunk people. I still might have to, unfortunately, as getting various people in to sing their parts two-by-two is not working out too well.
Thanks again.
