I was having fun with my vacuum cleaner today.
(No... not like that).
I was working on a racing game for a client and decided to swap the car engine noise for the sound of my vacuum cleaner (just for fun). The vacuum has an analog speed setting, so actually has the potential to function like an accelerator anyway.
So... I recorded 6 different speeds and created a little EXS24 instrument whereby the rotational/power of the vacuum is controlled by the modulation wheel. It's not exactly a work of art and the recording is relatively basic, but it could yield some interesting projects perhaps.
