Problem with Mainstage speeding up backing tracks

Postby derpidety » Sat Aug 11, 2012 3:00 pm

So I'm preparing for a gig in a couple of days, and I've been bouncing my tracks out of logic and into mainstage.
I was working on mainstage trying to lessen the latency (I was livestreaming at the time), when mainstage crashed.
When I opened it back up, every backing track in my set played at more than twice the speed.
however, when looking at playback, the BPM had not changed.

I've tried importing other backing tracks and even other songs into the project, only to have the same issue of speeding up any sample.

How can I get my samples to go back to their original speed?

What is your sample rate set to in MainStage?
Set it to 44.1 or 48 depending on your source material.

a;slkdfj wow thank man!
not sure why mainstage decided to go to 44.1 instead of 48 after it crashed, but the problem is solved!

You're welcome derpidety.
I'm must say that I'm confused my self in why that fixed the problem? Seems like a mismatch between MainStage and your audio interface.

Please consider adding your Logic version and system info to your signature: Forum Rules - please READ THIS before posting (#5).

Cheers,
