earlwgreen
Hi all, I'm in the process of choosing a MacBook. I'm also in the process of seeing what programs will give me what I need and the best audio interface. My budget it around $1300 for the PC and then in a few months add program & audio interface. I want MAudio Keystation Pro-88 to control layered sounds and I want to record those sounds and record the lead vocal without FX so I can go back and edit them later. Is this something that would be better in Mainstage, or Logic? Thanks
Kent Sandvik
I would think it would be easier to record and edit in Logic unless we are talking about a live show with Mainstage and you want to save loops recorded or something similar? earlwgreen
Here's what I do now: Mic into Harmony-M into mixer M-Audio ProKeys 88 into mixer, using a layered sound of piano & pad or piano & organ Nano iPod into mixer out to sound system & monitor What I'd like to do: Mic into Hamony-M out into 2 channels, one for lead & one for harmonies M-Audio Prokeys 88 into mixer, but also add some layered sounds from the virtual instruments that I can select from song to song. I would like to have this mixed into the MacBook so I can later edit it and make it sound better. Hope this makes sense! Thanks
