Ricepilar
Hello, I'm using an M-Audio Radium 49. It has a volume fader which somehow automatically acts as a master fader in Mainstage. I'd like the fader to just control the volume of the synth sound that's assigned to the controller. I am able to map it to control the volume of the synth but its still also controlling the master volume for the whole patch. Anyone know how to unmap the master? Thanks. mmm42
Anyone know how to unmap the master? You should be able to find that mapping at the Concert level.
Ricepilar
Thanks but I'm still not finding the problem. The volume control on the radium doesnt only control the master volume. It controls the volume of every channel strip. I'm using the 8 track playback preset which comes with a virtual master fader. That master fader is mapped on the concert level, but the problem keeps happening even if I unmap it. Anyone got any ideas?
mmm42
Anyone got any ideas? Select the Concert level, then select the master volume fader in the concert and map that one to the Master Volume.
Ricepilar
Thanks, but the master volume is mapped like that already. That doesn't help unfortunately.
herr gunstig
Select the workspace fader that is mapped to external volume. Switch to layout mode. Delete the fader. Done.
