Compressed snares show different transients?

Postby Bouncer » Sun May 20, 2012 3:19 pm

i got the snare/clap soloed alone run through master and i got compressors in the mixer bussed into a kit to another bus and then another and to the master and this is what i see. first transient is nice and the others are not. why is it doing it? how can i have all transient like the first one. maybe i need to set the compressors right release/ attack?

Try a quicker attack setting to get the compressor to tame the transient.
