Sample Editor - add new tools

Postby ERO » Tue Mar 20, 2012 6:06 pm

How about adding an EQ, de-esser and multiband compressor to the Sample Editor. This would allow for a simple way to render files similar to Audio Suite in Pro Tools. Can do this now with insert plugins, but the process would be much faster in Sample Editor.

Note that you can already do all of that by choosing Options > Audio > Open in Soundtrack Pro and using the "Process" menu in Soundtrack Pro. When you're done, just choose File > Save to apply your processes destructively to the audio file.

The process is actually much, much more flexible than in Pro Tools. Personally I like it much better.

Thanks David, I'll give it a try. But hasn't SP been discontinued by Apple?
