Groove Template and Quantize Management

Postby peachboy » Tue Jun 19, 2012 3:13 am

We live in the era of groove templates and quantizes. As such, custom quantizes in a startup template can easily extended into their hundreds.

At present there's a single drop down box for quantizes, which is not very practical when dealing with hundreds. I'd like to see a better method of managing these grooves and quantizes. I think it would be easy to incorporate as a new component of the right inspector panel....or something similar.

+1

I totally second that.

Just to be able to load and save grooves would be perfect. Somewhat like presets. Cubase/Nuendo has had it for ages.

I'd love this. It should be easy. Just handle it like any other settings on Logic. Have a corresponding folder on the HD, where you can organize into folders and sub-folders at a whim. It would also make adding and removing groove templates easier and without having to hide regions.
