rone2him
What's up... heard Apple will be a "no show" at NAMM 2014 next week in Los Angeles? An indication towards dedication, dearth, paucity, or simple budgetary conflicts I find it interesting anyway 8)
creationcollective
They weren't there last year either, were they?
rone2him
Guess not rather surprising though... guess they arn't really that big or serious of a player in the music world which was kinda my point.
triplets
I think last time Apple was at NAMM was 2009 when they presented Logic 9.1 as 64-bit. They have the Apple retail stores, so they see no need to spend money and be present at NAMM.

David Nahmani
rather surprising though No surprise. Apple's strategy has been to pull out of pretty much all trade shows for years now. They are no longer present at MacWorld. Even Microsoft pulled out of CES: http://www.cultofmac.com/136585/microsoft-apple-was-right-about-tradeshows-were-pulling-out-of-ces/
