Jordi Torres
3. Transfer. You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute or sublicense the Apple Software. You may, however, make a one-time permanent transfer of all of your license rights to the Apple Software to another party, provided that: (a) the transfer must include all of the Apple Software, including all its component parts, original media, printed materials and this License; (b) you do not retain any copies of the Apple Software, full or partial, including copies stored on a computer or other storage device; and © the party receiving the Apple Software reads and agrees to accept the terms and conditions of this License. You may not rent, lease, lend, redistribute, sublicense or transfer any Apple Software that has been modified or replaced under Section 2C above. All components of the Apple Software are provided as part of a bundle and may not be separated from the bundle and distributed as standalone applications. That's for Logic Studio 1 (Logic 8) but I'm sure the same applies to Logic Studio 2 (Logic 9) before Logic 9 went to the App Store. http://images.apple.com/legal/sla/docs/logicstudio8.pdf J. Deepraker
hi Jordi i've got a question from a potential customer for my Logic Studio for sale: if he breaks his computer, can he reinstall Logic Studio from the DVDs to another computer with no 2nd post license issue? thanks for your feedback kind regards Francois
Deepraker
also: does Logic Pro X has at least all the same instruments, features and contents that the Logic Studio i sell?
David Nahmani
also: does Logic Pro X has at least all the same instruments, features and contents that the Logic Studio i sell? Mostly, but not exactly. Some plug-ins are gone, some features are gone. On the other hand there are a few new (or redesigned) plug-ins and several new features. Deepraker
Thanks for your reply David. Therefore, does it make sense to keep Logic Studio incl. Logic 8 when I 'upgraded' with the purchase of Logic Pro X?

Therefore, does it make sense to keep Logic Studio incl. Logic 8 when I 'upgraded' with the purchase of Logic Pro X? It's up to you. IMO there's way enough in LPX to not need all of the older LP8 stuff, but that's just my opinion.
