sambosun
I would like to see Final Cut Pro X related audio editing features brought over to Logic Pro X. Here are at least 3 I like most. (starts dreaming) 1. Cursor position dependent, frame accurate audio skimming/ scrubbing 2. Region and Region range based clip gain handles 3. Region based plug-in fx chains Edited April 21, 2016 by sambosun

David Nahmani
Sambosun, your screenshots are SO HUGE it's very hard to see them. To make them of reasonable size so that we can see them, open them in Preview and choose Tools > Adjust Size, then click the edit button to delete the current screenshots and add the new one instead. Thanks!

sambosun
7. Skimming while selecting a range Imagine you're using the Marquee tool in Logic and if the option is enabled your midi and or audio region will skim and take this feature even further to also support skimming, when resizing regions. sambosun
!!!UPDATE!!! This feature is integrated since LPX 10.2 8. Reverse audio directly on the waveform and edit/show speed (flextime) In Logic you have to open the audio editor/ create a new file and apply reverse. Also it could come in handy to actually see if a region is reversed and how much its region speed is Edited April 21, 2016 by sambosun
sambosun
9. Create Compound Clips Create compound clips (group clips) and compound clips edit them as a whole or apply FX chains to them single clips This is somewhat similar to Region folders and track stacks (which unfortunately don't easily allow deep folding) Edited April 21, 2016 by sambosun
sambosun
10. Region FX envelopes in the audio file editor I know its not a FCPX feature but still my favourite companion - Soundtrack Pro
sambosun
11. Paste Attributes It would be a workflow enhancement if one could highlight a region with the marquee tool and copy all or only visible region automation parameters and paste them into another region on a totally different track. Or lift selected parameters of a region and stamp it into another region. A window could appear like the note repeat window where one can check or un-check parameters which where lifted. In Final Cut Pro X it is possible to select a clip hit command + C, select another clip and hit shift + command + V to paste just these attributes.
