Jordi Torres
The MIDI Draw Autodefine command normally let's you cycle through available parameters and also turn Off the MIDI Draw view. This is working fine in the Piano Roll, but the Autodefine command won't turn off MIDI Draw on regions in the workspace. Steps to reproduce: Create a MIDI region. Pencil in some notes. Draw some Modulation or any other CC data. If you now use the Autodefine command, it will cycle between the display of the velocities and the CC, but will not turn off MIDI Draw and go back to the regular look of the region, unless... Workaround: I noticed that when you reach the point where it displays the velocities, if you hit Autodefine again, it will continue to show velocities, BUT if you click anywhere in the workspace it will finally show the regular view of the region. So basically the bug is that instead of showing you the "MIDI Draw Off view", it's getting stuck on the "Velocities view". J.
mentismus
Confirmed but to be honest "The MIDI Draw Autodefine command normally let's you cycle through available parameters and also turn Off the MIDI Draw view." is a doubtful statement.) Looked through the manual, to turn the MIDI Draw off you have to use an individual command – shift+cmd+Y
Jordi Torres
Shift-Command-Y (Disable MIDI Draw) gets you out of MIDI Draw immediately. Autodefine gets you out after cycling through all available parameters. That's the way it should work but because of this bug it gets stuck in the last parameter instead of hiding MIDI Draw and showing the normal region view. Try it yourself if you don't believe me. J. Eric Cardenas
Don't know when this happened but it appears to be fixed on my system.
