No. 3. Bummer. Reporting may help - and is really the only thing you (or anyone) can "do about it": http://www.apple.com/feedback/logic-pro.html
Eric Cardenas
Fixed in Logic Pro X 10.1.1.
conradkeely
I have the latest 10.1.0. I have NEVER gotten the tap tempo to work, in any version of logic. Same thing happens as described above, tapping starts the track moving, but does not change the tempo. Pretty pathetic, really, that it works flawlessly on Garageband on an iPad, and yet a program as sophisticated as Logic on a Macbook Pro makes it so difficult. Works fine in Logic 10.1.1 (which is the latest version of Logic). It also worked fine in Logic 9 and 8, for example. J.
conradkeely
Here's what happens when I tap the key assigned to tap tempo: The locator line turns blue. It begins to move the the right. The temp changes in small increments, but never at the tempo I'm tapping. I've tried changing every parameter in tempo interpreter, none of which affect any change. Conclusion: lame. Jordi Torres
Sounds like you're in playback mode. Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. You need to be in stop mode. J.
