micdim
Hey everyone, I'm a logic Pro X user, but have Garage Band on my iPad with iOs7. I would like to record a couple of quick tracks on the road, and when I get back into my studio, I would like to bring these separate tracks into Logic Pro X. Can this be done, and if yes can anyone can show me how from my iPad to my computer? Thank you in advance! micdim
David Nahmani
First share the iPad song with your Mac. Once the GarageBand song is on your Mac, just open it in Logic Pro X (Control-click and choose open with Logic Pro X).
micdim
Hi David, Thank you for helping me figured it out! P.S. 1. Fantastic Book! Love it! I've been a logic user since Notator days & really enjoyed going through the book! Very we'll done!!! I have both physical & Digital, because I like to read the physical book & go through the digital tutorials on my iPad while at my Mac! 2. I know this has been asked but why not a Logic Pro X Advanced? I would love to learn more about the environment, & so many other things that are possible with Logic, which many of us would love to learn, but not available as tutorials. David Nahmani
Thank you for your kind words micdim! 2. That's a good question. I'm not sure why Apple decided to kill the advanced LPX certification but my guess is that they were seeing much more interest for the level 1 vs the level 2? Not sure.
