Have you updated your system to Lion yet?
If not then hurry up! 'cause the next OS is arriving this summer.

Cool. Seems like they brought many of the iOS innovations into OS X. Just as I was finally getting ready to upgrade to Lion!

Soooo… based on what we've seen so far, what's everyone's take?

For me, it's the same as Lion: great for my less computer-literate family, not so much for me. Though I'd LOVE to have that AirPlay/AppleTV mirroring, if they could make it work on a Core 2 Duo system. The only other thing that really piqued my interest was that new wallpaper, which won't be too hard to find soon enough.
[ Current setup: Logic 9.1.8, OS 10.8.3 / 9.1.6 on 10.6.8, Late-'08 MacBook Pro (5,1), 2.53 GHz Intel C2D, 8GB RAM, 750GB HD, Apogee Duet, M-Audio Keystation Pro 88, Mackie MR5s. ]
I'll probably never create a better signature later.

Hopefully it will address some issues with Lion. Such as support for multi screens with full screen apps. Other than that it looks cool. I downloaded the new Messages app. Seems to work well enough.

I'm an official Apple Developer, what about Logic Pro 9.1.6 on 10.8?

I upgraded to 10.8 Developer Preview and I'm getting a prompt stating that 3/4 of my AU's are "not available." They're crossed out in Logic as if I never had them installed. Checked my Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Component directory and they're all there.

Kind of just shot myself in the leg here. Gah

Good enough reason for sticking with SL ;) I got burned way too many times with Windows to upgrade to readily , and tbh I can't see any real advantages in productivity in either going Lion , or Mountain Lion , unless I missed a trick somewhere ?

I hope Mountain Lion brings back the volume control feature which Lion removed (I somehow doubt it though) - http://osxdaily.com/2010/04/11/precisel ... -your-mac/

Running 10.8 with Logic 9.1.6 with no issues.
Just did an install over Lion 7.3.
Had to run AU manager in 32 bit and in 64 bit and have all the same plugs that worked before.
Notifications are cool, iMessage nice, Safari 5.2 is snappy.
Logic seems stable

Yeah, I don't see why I should upgrade even to Lion. I want to make music, and when everything just runs, why change? I'll stick to SL as long as possible...

Upgraded to Golden Master 10.8 logic is fine on a small session but on a larger session it becomes very unresponsive and glitchy I had to downgrade back to a previous version , studio one 2 was fine on both types of session so I guess they prepared I think logic needs a rewrite to be fair........

actually that option came back in a recent lion update 10.7.4 with the same opt+shift shortcut.
