mikejem777
Have the legacy instruments been deliberately left out of the Logic 9.02 package? Specifically the Harmonica (EXS24 BluesHarp). On a separate Apple forum, it's suggested that a search through the install disks of Logic 8 will reveal it, using Pacifier. No such luck on 9.02; is there anywhere I can download this plugin, from Apple perhaps, as the nearest I can get otherwise is to strangle an alto sax plugin. Which sounds as much like a BluesHarp as a strangled alto sax, naturally. (It was even wittily suggested 'You could buy a harmonica...' Yes, but on that basis I could also waste six hours going 'aaahhh' twenty-four times to badly replicate a choir. Or I could use a perfectly good plugin). Doye
I thought so too but they are all there. Just expand the installation options and select Legacy Instruments.
mikejem777
Doye, simple explanation, spot on solution. You've cheered me up. Loads of other stuff in there I'd probably have ended up asking about later as well, so thanks for that. And I wish I was in Trinidad. Doye
Where are you?
mikejem777
If the world had haemorrhoids... no, not Milton Keynes. I'm in that part of England known as Yorkshire, where recently snow had a bit of a January sale. I loved it, nearly everyone else moaned. I find winter particularly evocative for songwriting, just the cue for the wistful, longing pine of a lone harmonca... That's where I am.
