Just watched the presentation via youtube... Wow. Some great inovation within FCPX.. and of course wondering now, what, if any of those workflow features venture into Logic land.

From the pics, I find the interface update to be amazing. I always wondered why the free aps (iMovie etc...) looked better than the pro apps. No more! :D

Now that Apple have let FCP out of the bag, some details about Logic X leaked:

1. Downloadable on the App Store.
2. Less bloated than Logic 9 - no loops or massive sample libraries are attached to Logic X
3. Focus on mixing: multitouch compatible, can support iPad as a mixing controller, legendary consoles modelled - e.g. EMI TG, SSL etc.
4. Most VIs have been removed or are optional. Goodbye to EXS, Ultrabeat and the rest.

found this on another forum.

Can someone make a statement to this?

"found this on another forum..."

Mwâh... right... yes... well... ahem...

There are a lot of spoof posts on this subject, it would help assessment if you linked to it, now it could well be you who has just made this up...
I think it's unlikely they reverse Logic Pro into a "Logic Express Plus" version.

I'll give it a shot. Here's my statement:

The Apple team has stopped development on Logic Pro based on the information that the world is going to end in 2012 anyway.

I thought they would symbolically make Logic 9.11 the last update... chance missed...

And I'll post the girls again:

Do not really understand...
Is there anything true that they will stop their plugs or not?

The answer is: those who know won't tell, and those who tell just guess. Even wild, absurd guesses will not be "officially" denied.

But, again, I doubt that they are making "Logic Pro Express". My guess: Logic Pro 10 will most probably be named Logic Studio 3.0.
I Guess.

Notice how the OP on KVR never returned to the topic, didn't answer any q. from the repliers...
And though you provided a link, that link has no link. Get out of a cul-de-sac by entering a different cul-de-sac.
"Burbank" only has 14 posts to his name, and is otherwise also completely anonymous. All very doubtful and unreliable and uncheckable, even the App Store availability of Logic I sincerely doubt...

Bottom line: We'll see, eventually....

Yes, I agree. I wonder if they just made this up to see who's leg they could pull?

Just about as much truth as the fact that the world is going to end in 2012. Don't believe everything you hear/read. The people who know don't talk. The people who talk don't know. (edit: just realized that Erik posted something very similar).
