another video

Postby sonicguy » Sun May 01, 2011 7:12 am

Shot another video at the studio. This one is considerably better than the first in terms of production quality. Still needs improvement. I'd be happy to hear any feedback.

I know this is a thread about pics mainly, but I thought you all might be interested in what's going on here lately. Sorry if this is inappropriate.

I do too!

I really dig that band. Great vocals, performance, recording, song, everything. Well done. Cheers!

I've seen some pretty nice setups here!

For me, Logic gave me the ability to create cheeky bootlegs and basic productions for my dj sets.

Picked it up today for £30, seems in good working order.

Cheapest I've found on eBay is £275 for a working one.

Very happy :D

Addition? That, sir, WAS my very first home studio. ;) Well, actually, it was a TC 630. I still have it sitting next to my desk at home, though I haven't used it for ages.

Nice. I really like the sound of it, even though beatmapping anything I stick into Logic off it is a royal pain in the arse.

You can see it here in the back of my messy set-up at home. The room also serves as a storage space for my fiancée's stage clothes and dresses, which cover entire walls, and, in turn, act as pseudo room-treatment. lol

Below that, my current portable rig, which I'm trying to enjoy as much as I can before we travel to Spain and Russia next fall/winter and I have to make it even more portable.:s

they say, "if you can make a mix sound good on a pair of ns10's, it will sound good on anything...but if a mix sounds good on 2 pairs then the fabric of time, itself, will collapse in on itself"

so, be careful yeah ??

I had some pics taken for a website today, I thought I would share some here. I was a bit shocked at how dirty everything looked in the pics, especially the faders, I'd spent ages cleaning things before the photographer arrived too…

Hey, ruari. Nice place! (well, we can't really see the actual place but one sort of gets the idea).

What's with the human rhythm composer? You need a machine to compose human rhythms for you? What are you, a martian? (that would explain the dirty faders...alien slimey sweat is tough to remove).

Damn, it looks like you've figured out my secret. I even wear special gloves to keep the ooze in - they're obviously not working very well
