Sooo many bits and bobs.... I keep finding stuff that I haven't actually "placed" in the mix yet. But this exercise has actually been a lot more fun than I thought it would be. (Reverend, the water's warm, jump right in!) In my wee business here I spend a lot of time making people sound way better than real life so it's a bit of a treat to mostly just mix and not fix.

Good question! Not being a Danish speaker, every time I listen to the song, I keep hearing things that
almost sound English....
"You told there they came to die
Then we feel sacked - we will save no men
McMaginol game assign
The virgin lips among they did say to send"

My wife speaks a bit of Danish and she says that the choruses are about saying goodbye and the bridge is about caring. But she's not really sure. So, no conscious word painting here, more just mood shaping.

I look forward to that!
