No, but you can make the trip to Los Angeles and learn from the author of the official Apple Pro Training Series textbook on Logic (yours truly)!

Logic Pro classes in Phoenix

Postby Brent00 » Fri Oct 21, 2011 12:52 pm

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I'd keep my question in a related thread.

How about hands on Logic Pro classes in the Phoenix area? Just thought I'd ask...since others were.

Thanks for that link, David. It seems you're the master at this. :D

Well I have been doing it for a while, I have worked for Apple on several occasions, and have had all sorts of high profile students: http://www.logicprohelp.com/clients.php. I am also the author of the official Apple textbook for Logic: http://www.amazon.com/Apple-Pro-Training-Logic-Express/dp/0321636805 which is the book used in all Apple Authorized Training Centers throughout the world.

We regularly get students from all over the world: Asia, Australia, Europe, South America, etc.. who travel to L.A. for the only reason to attend one of our classes. Maybe you'll consider making the trip to L.A. too? It's worth it!! :D

You mean the link to the exact same website you're already on?
Just teasing you a bit.

Though if you're taking requests, David…

(In all honesty, I've been working through the book, but vow to one of these days make it down to LA for the course to get more hands-on training, or at the very least, Ski's film scoring course that yeah I know I just missed one but I'm not made of cash you guys geez.)
[ Current setup: Logic 9.1.8, OS 10.8.3 / 9.1.6 on 10.6.8, Late-'08 MacBook Pro (5,1), 2.53 GHz Intel C2D, 8GB RAM, 750GB HD, Apogee Duet, M-Audio Keystation Pro 88, Mackie MR5s. ]
I'll probably never create a better signature later.

FWIW, I was all set to attend the one you had a couple weeks ago, until I wound up ordering some stuff we needed for a tribute we did at my uncle's funeral. (But hey, now I've got a public address system, and a better video editor than iMovie…)

Hopefully, third time's a charm. ((hold one in late January again so I can pass the bill off to other people as a birthday gift))
