Just installed newest upgrade and there is definately something wrong with 'preview sample in ultrabeat voice' option. Compared to similar option in exs mk2 ultrabeat doesn't play sample accordingly to voice's pitch, filter & amp settings.

I did the 'duplicate older version and re-name' trick with 9.1.3. Upon loading my current project, about 10 audio tracks, with, as yet, minimal plugins, 9.1.7 took longer to load, briefly giving me the beach ball. 9.1.3 doesn't do this. It loads in seconds.

Anyone else seeing delay compensation issues?

Drumagog and MAutoVolume are causing some serious delays. I have to bounce my tracks and align by hand.

Also, I'm surprised Apple no longer has links for downloading previous releases. Support page only has latest and 9.1.
Any one has a link to 9.1.6?

9.1.7 has broken my CamelPhat plugin. They're working on a fix, but I'm desperate to downgrade to Logic 9.1.6. I cannot find it anywhere. Also looking for a link to the 9.1.6 - it must be somewhere on Apple's site, no?

Hi.

This was working fine for me in 9.1.6. I updated to 9.1.7 on OS 10.7.3 and it still works as expected. I have just done several tests there. However, I have had isolated problems like this before with Logic where people with the same version and OS did not.

Just updated to 9.1.7, still having the same beach ball issue that I was with 9.1.6. My solution is still Little Snitch. - Emile

I wonder if they've fixed this little one?

As mentioned in my previous post. It works for me and it did as well in 9.1.6.

Very strange.

Seriously, isn't anyone getting delay compensation issues? Drumagog is just going crazy for me.

Hi.

I don't have drumagog but so far everything is ok as far as I can see. I haven't had any issues.

Indeed, I was a little premature. My audio/MIDI sync issues and errors persist in 9.1.7. I guess the next step is finding my snow leopard cd and rolling back.

Yes.
It may have something to do with running the 32bit bridge.
The spikes and cpu use appear to go down when I unload any 32bit plug ins.

I've gone back to 9.1.6 and it's resolved totally. I think I'll wait for Apple to fix it 'cause I need my 32 bit bridge until my Waves plug-ins run on 64 bit.

Presumably, you have your system backed up by TIme Machine. If so, it's simple.

Here a link to Apple's guide on Time Machine:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1427
.... refer to the section on 'recovering files and folders' This includes older versions of applications.

It is excellent. I had never done it before and I followed there guide and re-installed Logic, (residing in the applications folder of course). I, somewhat bravely, opted for the 'delete original' option, and it worked a treat. When I opened up Logic, my project was fine, Logic was at 9.1.6 and, the creme de la creme, the CPU was as good as gold.

Good luck.
