Generic Sampler Plugin

Postby cougarman » Fri Jun 01, 2012 8:16 am

Hey guys,

Has anyone heard of a 'generic' sampler plugin which I can install and load all my samples into? EXS24 is a bit too much. I wanted something more simple.

Thanks!

the only thing i ever missed from Reason was the sampler (the NN-XT). one thing i like to do (and it's hopeless in the exs24); load a sample, play my track, then try OTHER samples playing the same part (i.e. a drum loop trigger, or a weird effect, or a pad, or...anything).
exploring this way with the exs is hopeless. being able to try out sounds WITHOUT having to commit to anything...miss that.

Thanks David, that helps a bit. I'm looking for a certain way of working on my samples and being a software developer...I may just build one :)

if you could develop some way of having an Lfo / envelope plug in that could be easily routed to modulate parameters of other effects and / or instruments that could be pretty handy.... surely that already exists, ?
