Folder under "favorities" has disappeared [SOLVED]

I even searched for the folder, called "SAMPLES", in backups that are two months ago and can't find the folder. It only disappeared on me last week....

Not sure what folders you're talking about. Is this related to Logic? :shock:

not really, that's why I just put it in the Lounge part. the sidebar in finder that has "Macintosh HD", "Applications", etc. I had an alias in there called "SAMPLES" that contained all of my samples, and now it's gone. I searched my backups and it's gone too. :(

Those things in the sidebars of Finder windows are just empty aliases, the original items are untouched if you throw those away.
