bluearrow
I have Logic 9 and an M audio Axiom 49 keyboard. Lately a pitch bend de tune is being generated randomly ( not by me) either by the Axiom or Logic. Any ideas??? As a workround how can i turn off pitch bend functionality within Logic. Thanks
Eric Cardenas
Try unplugging the Axiom and see if that helps. To filter the Pitch bend messages, uncheck the box in: Project Settings > MIDI > Input filter.
hicsuntdrac0nis
this has also been happening to me and its so frustrating that i have just stopped making electronic music. what do you mean "to filter the pitch bend messages" ?
David Nahmani
"filter pitch bend messages" means you can filter incoming pitch bend events at the input of Logic by choosing Settings > MIDI > Input Filter and selecting the Pitch Bend checkbox. In that case any pitch bend events that were already recorded onto the track will still playback, but the ones you perform with the pitch bend wheel on your MIDI Controller are no longer recorded or performed live by the instrument. In any case if you need help troubleshooting the same problem as the OP then you need to try the same solutions suggested by Eric to the OP. pyphus
I had the same issue today. That did the trick -uplugging and re-plugging the controler (Arturia Lab49). On the issue of the Midi draw button -many of the YouTube videos explaining the process are out dated.
