Logic X and Mavericks

I usually do clean installs as well, I've heard some people say it does not matter but I guess with intensive apps like Logic Pro it's better to do a clean install. I usually back up with Time Machine then migrate from there.
Time machine is a no go for me. These darn dongles! Some of my plug-ins are still tied to them and they have a limited number of activations. Restoring from Time Machine always required me to re-activate, so i had to find another solution...
