Darren Burgos

Darren Burgos started producing music in 1987. His first computer was an Amiga computer with 1 meg of RAM. A self-professed electronic music production addict, Darren is obsessed with synthesizers, hardware and software alike. Throughout the years he has collected the best synthesizers, tweaking them to death to satisfy his obsession with sound design perfection. In 1994, Darren switched to the Mac and Logic Pro, and never looked back. 

While Darren has DJayed in front of thousands of people, his main focus is producing dance music and he has released tracks in various sub-genres from Psychedelic Trance to House to Electro on labels like Truffle Records, Dragonfly Records, Koyote Records and more.  

His skills and talent quickly got him noticed by the Apple Logic Pro team who hired Darren to share his vast knowledge of composition, mixing and mastering techniques with Logic Pro at NAB, Remix Hotel, Mac World, etc... In 2007, Darren met David Nahmani, the owner of Logic Pro Help, at the Winter Music Conference in Miami while they were both working for Apple. In night clubs thumping with dance music from some of the biggest DJs in the world was born the idea of creating our Electronic and Dance Music Production in Logic Pro class, which became an instant success.
