Terry Brookshire
I'm looking for a good tutorial on synthesis in general, not specific to any certain synth or DAW, although if it was taught in logic all the better. I really want to learn how to make sounds that I am after, other than the old "turn this, turn that, slide this" method that I've been doing until I get something I like. can you recommend anything? preferably DVD or video download, but i guess a book would be ok. thanks Terry
MtL
For some nice, light reading ~ practically an interactive DVD, check out Curtis Roads' Computer Music Tutorial. It will hold your hand. [/ sarcasm] BUT, it's a great book, if you're willing to put in some work and actually learn the theories.
