philuilleann
Sorry, old question I know. I searched the forums but can't seem to find this info. I need to free up the system drive to install new software. I'm getting Notion 3 and it takes 16 gigs and at this time you cannot put those samples on on external. (if you haven't seen/heard this new version of notation software check it out,Logics score editor is fine but Notion seems to be much, much better). Any details on how to do this correctly would be very much appreciated. thanks, philuilleann a piper with a computer.
will666
all i did for this was drag my loops folders to my external deleted them of my main drive and then opened logic then draged the new loops folders (on the external drive) onto the loops finder in the media tab. I hope this helps
philuilleann
Thanks for the quick reply. I couldn't find the media tab in the loops browser. I may be missing something here. Still using old logic express 7. Posted now is my signature.
will666
bugger i'm not really up with logic 7 the media tab in logic 8 is the one that opens up the loops browser, the bin and instrument menu. like i said i dont know how different it is from 7 - 8 but if you can open your loops browser then drag the external file onto the browser it might work the same as logic 8. sorry i could not be more help
