How do you assign an audio track in realtime. When i select my keyboard I choose audio>audio track 1 and record but I don't get any recorded information. All I get is a straight line.
Thanks,

I have to say, I have no idea what you mean by "assigning an audio track in real time" - in fact what do you mean by "assigning an audio track"? If you mean set its input, then you do that in the input slot on the channel strip, below where it says "I/O", but you cannot do it while recording - you have to do it before you start recording.
Also not sure what you mean by "when I select my keyboard"?

Realtime is just that. Recording in realtime. Aren't you a musician? In logic in the parameter box in the port position, i select my keyboard port which is 1. Now I click the record button in the track list, Then i click on record in the transport. I can see a dark solid line that fills a track in the track region a though something was created but there is no audio sound I can hear. I was told that you need to assign an audio track. I click on the track where my keyboard is located and i assign it audio track 1. If my process is wrong please clarify.
I'm not recording in midi. I'm recording in realtime I want to use the keyboards voices or tone generator.
Thanks,

I don't know what a "musician" is. What do you mean by a "musician"? You're being very cryptic.

What are keyboard ports? Do you mean Inputs? (or Outputs?)
Just out of curiosity.. but is English your primary language? If not, what is? I suspect Spanish but I could be wrong..... ________________________ Nigel

You see... you can put together at least one coherent sentence when properly motivated.
Well done! ________________________ Nigel
