Iscariot13
Hi all. I've just upgraded from Logic 7 to 9 and am having a few issues opening songs created in ver. 7. First of all, when load one particular song, I get an error message stating: Logic Pro: Plug-in"PSP Drumki" of type 0 - 16 not available! I don't understand why the Drumkit from Hell plug-In won't work (it is legal, not pirated) and was successfully validated in the AU manager. I'm not sure as to what the 0-16 is referring to. Then when I press play (and again when stoping), I get a loud click/ glitch; whilst the meters are showing the audio as playing, I get no sound at all. Outputs are set to 1-2, so I just don't get it. I wondering if there is a compatibility issue with my (M-Audio) Audiophile sound card? I looked under the audio preferences and it is showing output / input device as the Audiophile, so... Am I missing something here?
Jordi Torres
I've seen this before, apparently it can happen with 3rd party plug-ins, when opening an old project in a new Logic/OS version: http://logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?p=281916&sid=e6d7dac433f4d71366ac5448a47ba589 The 0-16 refers to the Multi-output version of the plug-in. However, this message doesn't mean the plug-in has stopped working. If you create a new track and load the plug-in you'll see it works...It's like something's lost in translation with 3rd party plug-ins. I'm afraid the workaround is to open the project in Logic 7 and save the state your DKFH is in as a preset (if you can save presets from within the plug-in), and then load that in the project in Logic 9...and save as a new copy of the project. Could be related to the to the M-Audio card...but first try what I suggested above. J.
