scribe
This worked fine in Logic 8 but no longer in Logic 9. In the assignment section of Ultrabeat one could rearrange the placement of the voices on the midi keys by dragging the voice (name) from one midi key assignment to another. This still works for synthesized voices but if you drag a sampled voice the name relocates but the samples get messed up (i.e. the sample of the previous voice may still play or the sample may be deleted entirely). I can reload each sample one by one but that is silly. The same problem occurs when using the import function and dragging one of those voices across - the name changes but you get "no sample loaded". Try this with one of the mostly samples kits like "Latin Kit" or "Indie Live Kit". This was consistent across 6 different computers in a lab. What's up? Is this a Logic 9 bug? Logic 9.1.3, OS 10.6.6 Tried on various macbook pros and iMacs
widdershins
Yes, I have seen this bug when importing voices from other kits. Simply dragging the voice over twice seems to solve it. Don't know whether that'll work when rearranging though.
Nublu
Yes, I have the same behaviour here, when re-arranging the voices to keys. "Latin Kit" and "Indie Live Kit". Bug Report I guess.
scribe
Thanks so much for checking. What's the best way to "bug" Apple, do you know?
Nublu
Thanks so much for checking. What's the best way to "bug" Apple, do you know? This has worked in the past for me. Just click it. Bug report is under "Feedback Type".
