BarryLegg
Hello. > I select a piece of audio and call up the sample editor. > I detect transients and enter 'Transient Edit Mode' > I go up to the audio in the arrange window and CTRL+Click... > 'Slice at Transient Markers' does not appear. Any suggestions? According to various tutorials online I'm doing it exactly right... but the option just is not there. Lost here. Regards, Barry. Jordi Torres
Any suggestions? Use the key command, which is faster anyway (by default it's not assigned to anything so open the key command window and assign some keys to it). To get the command to first appear in the shortcut menu you need to enable flex on the track (and also flex view). After that it should remain in the menu even if you're not using flex. J. Hi Barry, First, you don't need to open the sample editor and enter Transient Edit mode - unless you actually want to edit your transient markers. The shortcut menu (Control-click menu) only shows Flex options (including Slice at Transient Markers) when in Flex view, with a Flex mode selected for the track (second picture). Otherwise the shortcut menu shows the 5 last used functions at the top - so if you've used Slice at Transient Markers recently then that option will be available there (bottom picture), independently of Flex mode and Flex view.
