If you drop these files inside your resources folder within Logic pro 8, you will have a little graphic make over in Logic 8. Hope you like it. If you hate it, that's ok too! Smile

Nice!

Is the original look easily restorable?

Thanks! Glad you like it! I can't take credit for the meters though, someone gave them to me one time, I can't remember who....

It's a good idea to back up either the entire app, or atleast the resource folder.

How do you get individual colors to appear for the channel strip labels, as seen above? I've always hated the default 'salmon' color for audio channels.

looks nice,

How did you get the "send" name to show up in the slot?

as default it would really help to see the name rather than bus1, etc,.

From the mixer local menu bar: Options > I/O labels, and use user labels.

Hey, like the look. Does this slow things down? I know PPC G5 people are seeing things slow down as it is in LP8.

I think this is how it goes:

Right Click the Logic Icon (Control Click) --> Show In Finder --> Show Package Contents --> Resources

I think that might be it

Sorry if it isn't!

Duh!!
Something just occured to me: if somebody was able to do this to the appearance of Logic, surely there are going to be some creative people out there who will make some more "makeovers!"
Kind of like what Ableton Live users are able to do ....
Pretty kewl!

Most of the graphics are tiff files now. So it is easy to make changes - I have started tweaking a few things I didn't like already. Started by changing some of the environment pieces.

The only thing that I'm not very fond of, is numbers on the faders are a little hard to read - but that is just my opinion. Other than that, I dig this new look.
