Melodious Punk
This is strange to me, but I'm a little new to computer audio. Ultrabeat has 25 voices. So why can I not have 25 mono outs, as well as 25 stereo outs? I would like to be able to output each voice separately, as I tend to use all of them in my music. Please let me know if I'm missing something here. MP
fader8
I hear you. There is a workaround and it's not too bad. After you've sequenced and done your instrumentation in Ultrabeat for all 25 slots, save the preset. Open 2 more instrument tracks and load 2 more UB's. Load the saved preset to both. On the first, disable voices 9-25, on the second disable 1-8 and 17-25, etc, you get the idea. Set the remaining voices to their own stereo outs and do the same for the other instances. This gets you 24, but feel free to go to a fourth instance if you really need 25.
Roger Paolo
hey... that is some funcionality I am missing here. IN LP7 you could assign two sounds from the EXS or the UB to a stereo pair, pan them hard left and right and use them on 2 mono auxes. When assigning a mono aux to UB now, you can't choose from inputs 3 - 16 anymore. Is there another way to do this?
Melodious Punk
Thanks fader, that makes good sense. Damn annoying though, isn't it? I mean... it's software... ... (scratches head) ... I dunno... I'm lost on this one... .
