thanks, yea I had a problem with a audio region to apple loop pg. 263-265. I figured it out but I'm sure alot of people will have a difficult time with those pages.

Resize your region while holding Control-Shift: shorten it to 1 3 3 238, then back to 2 0 0 0. Then choose Region > Add to Apple Loops Library. You will now be able to choose "Looped". That's a bug in 8.0.1 - A region needs to be a whole number of bars for Logic to be able to turn it into an Apple Loop without using the Apple Loops Utility.
