axslinger
How do I display Guitar Tab instead of notation in the score view?
David Nahmani
Open the display parameter box (In the Inspector, at the top) and in the style menu choose "Guitar".

ChicoSatis
That is pretty sweet. I never used the score before so now I guess I have a new Logic friend.
Beer Moth
If you want to do Tabs there are loads of score styles, and you assign the strings via midi channel,so the fingerings are in the right place.
nagal
Sweet! I did not know this existed!!! This is why I love this board, I am always learning new tricks.

Can you clarify this, it does seem that its a little out of out of position?
nikkik
Just do not expect to TAB for extended range instruments... Logic does not support them for some reason. Heck- the Tuner does not even allow for a low B on a 5-string bass. Only app that does not, AFAIK...
Beer Moth
If you have a note on say a G string at 4th fret and you want it on the D string below 5 frets higher you select the note and slide its midi channel (in th'inspector) up and down till it's in the right position. The spread is quite wide'that is,it isn't just to midi 2 ,it might be 4 or 8 or higher. You'll have to play around. I've only ever really used it for a few bass tabs when my son was first starting. axslinger
Yeah, I see what your talking about. I will have to play with it a bit, because no matter how high or low I go it doesn't seem to get where I need it. Thanks
