David Nahmani
Thanks...! PS: You need to have 7.2 installed to see 7.2.1 in your Software Update window.
David Nahmani
Unexpected halt of software instrument output They fixed S.I.D.S.! I actually test drove 7.2.1 a few weeks ago with a System 5 Euphonix control surface... now you're talking. This thing is a monster! But it's a $150,000 control surface for Logic! music_boy
Direct playback of MP3 files Does that mean that I can import an mp3 from iTunes to A/B with a mix of my own? I would love to be able to do that!
Ashermusic
7.2.1 update doesn't recognize my 7.2.0. It says there is no eligible version, requires 7.2.0 in the Applications folder, which is where it is of course.

Apple, in their infinite wisdom, have changed the Silver Compressors gain behaviour back to the way it was prior to 7.2 Now that's kind of silly... like.. fixing a bug-fix? I'd think at least they would give us the option to use it "7.2 style"?
mattrixx
Yeah, a simple button would suffice, I'd have thought!

bodyelectrik
Actually, the Euphonix S5-MC that was at the ASCAP/Apple Event in LA was a 6-408T configuration with a custom S5 frame and that's why it was priced at $150k. The S5-MC is a modular system starting at $20k (list) for a stand-alone MC (the center section) and each 408T 8-fader module lists at $24k. So you can "get in" at under $20k and build a bigger desk later if you choose. The frame cannot be expanded. For if you want 48 channels you will need to buy a frame for 48 channels first. I would much smarter of them to make the frame field extendable, but alas, it is not. Holger Lagerfeldt
7.2.1 update doesn't recognize my 7.2.0. It says there is no eligible version, requires 7.2.0 in the Applications folder, which is where it is of course. Check if you changed the name of the folder/app, that might fix it. i.e. "Logic Pro 7.2". EDIT: Heh, posted also on Sonikmatter..

gpaulino
... and the icon must be on your applications folder. It took half an hour to figure that out (that was kinda obvious, though). Hey... did I read somewhere that SIDS is gone? Can anyone confirm that for sure? Thanx
