Logic Pro 7.2.1 is a maintenance release that addresses isolated reliability and compatibility issues in the following areas:

Intel Macs: ReWire and ReCycle support, Standard MIDI file export, OMF import, VSL EXS instrument compatibility

Blank Sample Editor window in some circumstances

Unexpected halt of software instrument output

Compatibility with Logic 7.1 songs

Direct playback of MP3 files

EuCon support for the Euphonix MC and CM408T control surfaces

For more information on this update, please download the most recent Late-Breaking News document at http://www.apple.com/support/lbn/?product=LogicPro&version=7.2&language=z. An updated version of the Dedicated Control Surfaces Support manual can be found at http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/Logic7_DedicatedCntrlSurfaceInfo.pdf.

Note: Use of Logic Pro 7.2.1 with the Logic Node application requires an update of the Node software on your Node machines. The Logic Pro 7.2.1 Update places the updated Node application into the Applications/Utilities folder. Please copy it to the Node machines and run it.

ALERT ALERT!! RE: 7.2.1.

Apple, in their infinite wisdom, have changed the Silver Compressors gain behaviour back to the way it was prior to 7.2.

ie Pulling the threshold will increase the make up gain!

I wish they'd make up their mind!!!!!!

You are right!

Actually, the Euphonix S5-MC that was at the ASCAP/Apple Event in LA was a 6-408T configuration with a custom S5 frame and that's why it was priced at $150k. The S5-MC is a modular system starting at $20k (list) for a stand-alone MC (the center section) and each 408T 8-fader module lists at $24k. So you can "get in" at under $20k and build a bigger desk later if you choose.

I spoke with Euphonix about expanding the S5-MC. The frame cannot be expanded. For if you want 48 channels you will need to buy a frame for 48 channels first. I would much smarter of them to make the frame field extendable, but alas, it is not.

Hi can anyone help?

I tried to update logic pro 7.2 with 7.2.1 and got the following message..

7.2.1 update doesn't recognize my 7.2.0. It says there is no eligible version, requires 7.2.0 in the Applications folder, which is where it is of course.

any advice on what i'm doing wrong??

Cheers,

Joe

The name of the application must be "Logic Pro" only, not "Logic Pro 7.2" or something different like that.

Best,
