shivermetimbers
ok I've edited this 3x now trying to adjust for my temporary lack of knowledge. Really I just need to find out if the x/y controller is assignable in Logic. Sorry for two lame posts in one day =P
bobsbarricades
dangit! How'd he do that? Logic doesn't recognize my x/y at all.
David Nahmani
If you can figure out how to get the device to send MIDI when using the pad, then Logic can use it. I would also encourage you to read Read Me before posting - Forum Guidelines. First of all your title: rather than limiting yourself to getting helped from Kaoss Pad owners, why don't you simply ask your question in your title? Something like "is the x/y controller on a PadKontrol assignable in Logic?" would get you much further. Then the info: which device are you using exactly? What brand? Did you install drivers? What computer? Which version of Logic?
shivermetimbers
To be honest with you, I recently purchased a nanopad, I downloaded the generic drivers/config for it and the x/y pad works perfectly. Maybe download the drivers and other updated software and see if thing start working right again. If all else fails pg 24 of your padcontrol manual may help. bobsbarricades
thanks shiver, I figured since it was working fine plug and play I wouldn't have to worry about drivers, but drivers make it work fine. =P sorry for the waste of a post. David - sorry about the title, I will be better in the future!
