Z1650506071
I have multiple tracks that I'm automating the LFO2 rate with and I'm trying to get them precise so the different tracks layer almost into one, unified, sound. The precision to do it seems a bit ridiculous so is there a way of copying the automation from one track and placing it over another so they play identically? David Nahmani
In Automation view, there's a little "automation fader" (looks like a meter) on the right side of the track header. Command-click it to select all the automation for the visible parameter on that track. Then press Command-C (Copy), select the destination track and choose Command-V (Paste). Z1650506071
Thanks. Guess it was simple enough.
Z1650506071
Ok, so I have that down, but is there a way I can copy a select area of automation and duplicate it instead of the whole track?

Unfortunately not - although you could use a workaround: for example select the region on the original track, choose Track > Track Automation > Move Visible Track Automation to Region, then drag the region to the other track and choose Track > Track Automation > Move Region data to Track.
