guyri
Is there a straightforward way to input triplets in the piano roll with the mouse? This is very easy in Cubase - set snap and quantise values, the grid changes and that's it. This doesn't seem to happen in Logic (8.02) Happy New Year!
Beer Moth
I don't often input in piano roll, but the grid bit's easy. Just drag the division under the time sig in the transport to the desired value. There's no doubt a better way,but you can then cut on the gridlines,or stick a triplet in in score then click that in piano roll and the duration will be selected. (I think!). guyri
Ah yes - I'd thought of that, but I was hoping there'd be a way to do it without changing the time sig. I have used the score editor as a work around, but it's fiddly and time consuming.
ChrisByrd
Another way is to use the Step Input Keyboard. I find this a big easier if there's just the odd triplet.
