KRE8A
Hi I have performed a hefty amount of automation volume edits in a track. I ended up copying this track (Duplicated) and I'm trying to copy the automation edits from the original track into the copied track. I've tried and cannot succeed. Please, how do I do ? David Nahmani
Make sure you can see your automation. In the track header, Command-click the automation fader (yellow meter-looking-thing to the right of the track header). That selects all the volume automation on the track. Then Command-C (Copy). Then select the destination track. Then Command-V (Paste).

KRE8A
Well, I know how to copy and paste automation edits from 1 track to another (thanking David very much). What I'm trying to do now, on the same track; is copy the automation edits from the first sketch, duplicating to all sketches. Please can you give me the step by step walk through, on how to do this ? Cheers .. Edited February 27, 2011 by KRE8A
Scott Jackson
What I'm trying to do now, on the same track; is copy the automation edits from the first sketch, duplicating to all sketches. What do you mean by "sketch"?
Wave Mekanix
In the same vein I'd be interested to know if you can easily copy automation from one parameter to another. Say from Volume on one track to an eq gain on another. Sincerely, The Thread Pirate Roberts

KRE8A
What do you mean by "sketch"? Purple and Grey in this case. Maybe it's the wrong term to use. However at least if I ever use that term again, you'll know what I'm on about. http://www.avatar1.com/avatar-upload/uploads/159bd110fd2f4ba7e5f3e2ac16657291.png Cheers Edited February 27, 2011 by KRE8A

Scott Jackson
Sounds like he has one of the craziest names for regions. I was just about to ask if he was referring to region based automation but after his last reply...I just said screw it.
