thomas_sylvan
Hi- How do I bounce tracks down to a track without sending them out the outputs and using a 1/4 cable to plug them back into my audio ins? In Pro Tools I set the outputs of my tracks (audio or midi soft synths) to a bus, then the inputs of my audio "bounce" track to that same bus. I can't find out how to set the audio track inputs to a bus in Logic, or how to record onto an aux track in logic? How do you route tracks in logic's mixer to bounce them down? Thanks for your advice!! Thomas
steveH
Go to File/Bounce and then interact with the Bounce window to make your choices re. file type, sample rate, mp3, bounce destination, dithering real time or not...etc. Logic will bounce all unmuted or soloed tracks internally that are bussed to the main (1&2) outputs... that is unless you're in surround... but that's another topic!
