Select the arpegiator then go to the region parameter box and find the "key limit" section. Any notes played "outside" of the those limits will play through or "ring" ...as you put it.

 

If you expand the range then you shouldn't have the problem anymore.

 

 

From the manual:

 

 

"This is where you can define the pitch range (between C-2 and G8) for the chord

arpeggiation. Any chord notes outside this range are passed directly to the output. This is useful when you want to solo above, or play a bass line below an arpeggiated chord."
