SideBMusic
Should regions overlap when crossfading or should they just be touching?
CCTMusic
Hi It does not really matter, providing that there is sufficient audio material in the relevant audio files for the crossfades to be constructed from. HTH CCT
SideBMusic
Technical question: If the regions do not overlap, does the crossfade extend the audio beyond the region boundaries to blend the sounds together to get a smooth transition? CCTMusic
Technical question: If the regions do not overlap, does the crossfade extend the audio beyond the region boundaries to blend the sounds together to get a smooth transition? Yes, provided that the "underlying" audio files that the regions 'point to', have sufficient material in them: In the attached pic, there is some material on both regions such that a crossfade is created.
